2014 Club Tryouts!

2014-2015 Boy’s Club Tryouts

Saturday, August 16, 2014

12:00 – 3:00 p.m.

Desert Ridge High School

Ages 13-18 years

Tryout Process:

12:00 PM Check In. Verify player documents. Pay $5 tryout fee.

12:30-2:30 Tryout Session

2:30 PM Team Selection and Parents to Pay commitment fee.

 Please bring the following documents to tryouts:

1) Print out confirmation receipt verifying that you are registered with USAV. Players are responsible for their own registration through USA Volleyball. Individual Registration will need to be completed prior to the tryout session.

Go to www.azregionvolleyball.org and find the link, Join the Region.

-New USAV players will have to join the AZ Region for one month (August), under the Summer membership for $15.00, and then renew on September 1st for the 2015-2016 season as a regular member for $50.00.

-Returning players that were registered for the just ended 2014 season have current memberships and are covered until August 31st, you must renew your regular membership, $50.00 on September 1st for the 2015 Season.

5) Commitment Fee: If your son is selected to be on one of our teams, a $350 commitment fee will be collected at the end of the tryout session to secure a position on our roster.

14 & Under Spring Season

Ages 10-14 are encouraged to come to tryouts on January 6th from 5-7 at Desert Ridge Junior High. Practices will be twice a week and you will get to play in 4 tournaments. Season goes to the end of March.

Bring: Copy of birth certificate, Medical Release Form, Concussion Form, Proof of registration with the AZ Region

Cost : $250 due at the conclusion of tryouts
          $125 due at the first practice of February
          $125 due at the first practice of March

What do the fees cover? Gym rental. Equipment, Uniforms, Coaches fees, tournament costs.

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!!!! ONLY GREAT ATTITUDES ALLOWED!!!:)

with a possibility of changing locations for bracket play.

It will be a longer day so be prepared! Good Luck!

We are coming up on our last week of practice which means regionals is right around the corner! December dues must be turned in to Coach Cassie by Thursday December 5th or you risk not being eligible to play! Call if you have any questions or concerns.
